Practice without understanding
You can practise for years and still not know why your practice works, or why it stopped working.
For a while, that is fine. Then one of three things happens.
- You get stuck. The same asana stops you, month after month, and you do not know why.
- You get hurt. A small pain you keep pushing through can turn into an injury.
- You stop. The practice stops moving, and one morning you do not come back.
If you teach, your students go the same way. They get stuck, get hurt, or stop coming. You see them leave, but not why.
You have already given the practice years. Without understanding, the next years look like the last ones.
In-Depth Mysore gives you time to look closely at three things: your own practice, the method and the body, and the students you teach.
What you leave with
- A closer look at your own practice. How each asana is built, how a practice progresses, and where your body holds you back.
- The body, in plain words. Anatomy in two parts, and injury cases.
- The method. Asana names, history, pranayama, teacher and student, and how learning works in a Mysore room.
- Teaching a led class. In 2026, each student taught one, and it was graded.
- Adjusting with consent. How to adjust with consent and communication, and when not to adjust.
- Why students quit, and how a teacher helps them stay. In 2026 the course included a session on this.
- An AYBKK certificate of completion. It is not an authorization.
The topics and tests above are from past cohorts. Nothing here promises a result: no job at the end, and no set level of practice. What you take home depends on your work.

Boonchu Tanti

Adjustments
Adjusting is taught with consent and communication, including when not to adjust. You practise on classmates. You sign a consent to receive hands-on adjustments, and you may decline any adjustment at any time.
How past cohorts were graded
In 2026, students were graded on their practice, written exams, teaching a led class, guidance and adjustment, and homework. There were three levels: Foundation, Deepening, Embodied.
At the end: an AYBKK certificate of completion.
Three doubts, answered
“Do I just get a paper at the end?”
The paper is an AYBKK certificate of completion. That is all it is. This course is not an authorization from Mysore, and AYBKK cannot give one. It gives no Yoga Alliance hours. What you pay for is the teaching.
“Why from US$5,500?”
You pay for time with Boonchu, in a group of 12 at most. The price says “from” because the format of the next English intake is not set yet. The full price comes with the dates. Payment plans are agreed on the call.
“Will I be adjusted?”
Yes, if you agree. You sign a consent to receive hands-on adjustments, and you may decline any adjustment at any time. You also learn to adjust with consent and communication, and when not to adjust.
This is not for you if
- You do not know the full Primary Series by heart.
- You have not yet practised in Mysore classes and in led classes.
- You want a Yoga Alliance number or an authorization.
- You will not do homework every day.
- You want a job or a set result at the end. Neither is promised.
- You need dates now. The next English intake has none yet.
If one line is you, do not join the list. That is a fair answer, not a failure.

How the priority list works
Dates, place and format go to the priority list first. The list hears 7 days before anyone else, and seats (12 at most) are offered in the order applications came in.
- Fill in the form. Say why you want this course, and send a link to a short practice video. Then you are on the list.
- AYBKK replies within 2 days.
- A call with Boonchu. When the dates are out and a seat is offered to you, you talk with Boonchu. Payment plans are agreed on this call.
- Payment. You pay as agreed on the call.
Joining the list costs nothing and does not commit you.
You are on the priority list.
When the next English intake has dates, you hear first, 7 days before anyone else.
AYBKK replies within 2 days, to the email or ID you gave.
Until then, keep practising.
